I agree with the other reviews and had a similar experience - bought a nice cheap online deal for $169 (PADI Open Water).
I could tell something was dodgy about the whole thing the moment I entered their Waterloo centre. Fast forward a year - about half a dozen cancellations/postponements/venue changes, instructors with attitude and/or language issues, severely shortened classes (PADI recommends two full days of pool diving whereas I had less than 2 hours of it). Near impossible to contact ANYONE, especially the boss.

One advice - avoid at all costs (even if free).
Skills that your life depends on should not be learnt from these people.

I went on to re-start my Open Water course with another company (Frog Dive, Willoughby) and paid double the price of these people - but worth EVERY penny! Learnt so much from such a nice instructor in the most relaxed environment. Collapse

They are being lead under the Artistic Direction of Rafael Bonachela. The Sydney Dance Company has been presenting in Sydney, all over Australia and even internationally.
Sydney Dance Company began in 1969 founded by dancer Suzanne Musitz. In the early 1970s, the company was known as The Dance Company (NSW) and received government funding annually as its reputation and public support grew. The company changed its name to Sydney Dance Company in 1979 spearheaded by Graeme Murphy, the Artistic Director and Janet Vernon, the Associate Director.
In 2009 the Sydney Dance Company gave birth to a new era in Australian contemporary dance when Rafael Bonachela was appointed as its Artistic Director. Rafael began as a guest choreographer at the Sydney Dance Company in 2008 with 360° and since then has premiered others like 2009’s We Unfold, 2010’s6 Breaths and 2011’s LANDforms.
A statement of Art Director Rafael Bonachela at the Sydney Morning Herald said, “I will create a group of dancers who will be unique. A group who will inspire choreographers and make them want to work with us. It’s about blossoming and opening up … rebirth.”
Sydney Dance Company’s headquarters are located where other arts companies like Carnivale, Bangarra Dance Theatre, ATYP and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs are located, at The Wharf, Pier 4, at Walsh Bay. Welcome to Hatha Yoga Space!
We are a happy couple - Alyona and Anton - who have been exploring healing and improving methods of Yoga for years. Fortunatelly, on this path we have met many people of great knowledge. Some of them have kindly shared with us their improving methods and vision of life and we consider them as our teachers.

Some names are:
* Oleg Fiodorov (Russia);
* Andrei Sidersky, Y23 Yoga System (Ukraine);
* Shandor Remete, Shadow Yoga (Australia);
* Bal Mukund Singh, National Institute of Yoga (India);
* Simon Borg-Oliver, Yoga Synergy (Australia)...

We are experienced and educated enough to teach to others the first stage of Yoga - Hatha. We believe nobody can actually improve their life without improving themself. At the same time, any effective improvement of our body and mind makes our life in whole so lovely different! That's why we consider Yoga as a life improving way and Hatha Yoga as a comprehensive body work that effectively improves one's life.

Our confidence in the knowledge we share with people continues to grow as we see the remarkable role Yoga has played in our own life. These great changes are inspiring us to share with people the remedy proven with our life.

Join our classes and you will see the difference! Collapse

Garie is an Aboriginal word meaning 'sleepy'. The name could also be a deviation of the name of a bushranger called Geaty, who camped here.Garie Beach is accessible via Garie Road, and has a carpark. It has no barbecue but has toilets, a surf safety centre, a kiosk and a picnic area. A youth hostel is also located close to Garie Beach.The construction of the Garie Beach Surf Safety Centre is one component of a larger planning and construction program to improve the Garie Beach Valley for the enjoyment of beach users. Stage one of the program was completed in June 2005 and included constructing a 175-space car park, and restoring the creek line and the beach foredune.Stage two involved designing, developing and constructing the Garie Beach Surf Safety Centre, landscaped forecourt and picnic areas. The surf safety centre, once completed, will contain public showers and toilets, a first aid room, kiosk, boat and equipment storage, a radio room, and meeting rooms and office space for the Garie Surf Life Saving Club and Garie Boardriders Club. As there is no electricity, no sewerage system and no mains water in the Garie Valley, the surf safety centre will be solar powered, and include a low-flush hybrid treatment system to provide flushing toilets which will use on-site biological treatment. Rainwater storage tanks will hold 31,600 litres of rainwater to provide showers for beach users.
Garie Beach has some of the best surfing waves in Sydney and is a very popular family beach destination. The Garie Surf Life Saving Club will provide an essential community service in helping to keep the public safe at the beach. Garie is home to the Garie Boardriders Club. Garie Boardriders has an active membership of just over 100 member on average and has been continually running as a boardriders club since 1978. The club's books now have over 500 members on them and a lot of older members are returning to compete in the senior and masters divisions. Collapse
