The Restaurant concentrates on an authentic, restrained style as practised in Japan and does not indulge in throwing eggs, prawns, rice bowls - or anything else - at the customers! Rather, the aim is to cook the best possible ingredients in a skilled and respectful manner.


In addition to savory dish and friendly staffs there is a comfortable atmosphere for drinks before and after the meal. The Hokkaido Restaurant (or simply Hokkaido) was known as a nickname "Lobster Cave" in Loftus Street in Circular Quay area of Sydney CBD in Australia.
