Highly disorganised, service is non-existent, staff is just rude and unhelpful. Avoid. Plenty of other dive places that is worth your money.

If you like aquatics and would like to have a real underwater experience than getting Open Water Diver certificate will be amazing. But where is the right school to get the course? Now I know the answer and will share it with you.

I studied diving in Cronulla ProDive diving center. When I thought about diving coincidentally I received an advertisement from Scoopon and I almost immediately got 2 discount tickets for me and for my wife. They cost me 149$ per each and 2 extra dives were included in this price. Awesome!
The course consists of 4 trainings: class lecture, pool training, and 2 open water days with 2 dives in each. It was big luck for us because our instructor was Sarah. She is an instructor from UK and she did a big work to help my wife to become a diver. Sometimes people can be afraid of taking off the mask under water, clearing a mask or removing a regulator form a mouth. The same was with my wife when we were doing pool exercises. It is a normal thing. However calm and patient instructor – like Sarah – can help you very much to be not afraid. I was trying to explain my wife some exercises and I failed doing this. But Sarah could do this easily and now my wife not just became Open Water Diver but she is calling me to do next dives together. Fabulous!
During the course we have seen big Blue Gropers, Skates, Sea Stars, Octopuses and a lot of other small fish. We study theoretically and practically essentials of buoyancy, equalization, nitrogen issues and under water usage of compass. What is more we meet a lot of friends who were keen on diving as well as we.
In Cronulla ProDive you can also buy equipment(like masks, snorkels, wet suits) or hire it. I had a good time diving with these guys and I hope you will also be able to have a new adorable experience! Collapse
