With unparalleled sightlines, a friendly atmosphere and a brand new Nexo Alpha sound system recently installed, the Metro continues to be the best live music venue in the centre of the city and an important icon in the history of rock.
Situated in the heart of George Street’s bustling entertainment district, directly across from the Cinema strip, and close to Darling Harbour and Oxford Street, The Metro is centrally located and easy to find.
There is no shortage of cafes, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of The Metro. Both Chinatown and the Spanish Quarter are adjacent to the area and provide a range of meals for all budgets.
