Freestyle was the dream of Martin Duncan from an early age and became a reality when he opened his first FreestyleTout (tout meaning everything or all) Restaurant in Rosalie, Brisbane in 1996. This began as a gallery and florist with coffee and dessert. Freestyle Tout has grown into a dessert cafe with an iconic reputation throughout Brisbane and Australia with ever changing local art each calendar month. Itâ€™s the perfect place to catch up for a drink, lunch, dinner or our famous desserts and jug cocktails. With a queue out the door most nights of the week, Martin opened a second restaurant on the other side of the River at West End.

Whilst weâ€™re well known for our amazing desserts, we do offer many great savoury options. You may even wish to consider our share platters and jug cocktails if youâ€™re with a group of friends. Being a fully licensed venue we have an extensive selection of beer, wines & spirits to choose from and our dessert wines are very popular!
