Le Pain Quotidien was established in the early 1990's in Brussels from where it expanded to Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles. Today, there are over 100 Le Pain Quotidien stores.
The essence of Le Pain Quotidien is to provide good quality food in a rustic bakery setting, using naturally-leavened handmade bread as a key component of our menu and retail products.
Our communal table is the centerpiece of each store. It is there that people are drawn whether alone or with friends to converse and enjoy our food in the company of others.
More and more of our products are organic and grown on self sustaining, bio-diverse farms. We only serve coffee that is both fairtrade and organic.
While we never compromise on quality, we always look for an organic option where available. The result is simple and tasty healthy food, made with quality ingredients, served in a warm and welcoming environment.
