Manly Wharf Shark Net

Address: Manly Wharf Manly NSW 2095

Tags: snorkelling

To the west of Manly Wharf, this is a stillwater beach with a shark-proof net, offering plenty of room to swimn and relax.

This is a reliable place to see seahorses. But once you see them, you may decide that they are not so exciting: it is not much different from seeing them in an aquarium. On the other hand, you typically can see cute miniature cuttlefish, porcupine fish, and many types of nice leatherjackets. The main downside of snorkelling here is that the water occasionally seems polluted. In this case, no worries, there are many other snorkelling sites nearby which tend to be cleaner.
