The Studio school of creative drawing has been a Melbourne artistic institution for over a decade teaching drawing and painting from the fine art tradition.
The studio school of creative drawing was established in 1992, since that time some thousands of students have attended. Each of the classes are friendly and nurturing.
Special effort is given to each student to develop their drawing skill. Peter Foster, principle teacher has had many years experience, he is a practicing artist and is always willing to share his knowledge and help each student to attain their artistic goals.
Art and Drawing Classes
The classes are a dynamic, vital and an enjoyable experience. Demonstrations will be given with each exercise and generally a different theme will be adopted each week. Basic awareness of anatomy, tone, colour, composition and perceptual exercises are given to help people ‘to see’ readily and respond to what they see.
Art and Drawing Workshops
Each year intensive workshops are held in life drawing and portraiture. Groups of 5 to 10 people create a dynamic, friendly group. This exciting experience is where people are discovering new ways of learning and developing drawing skills in a nurturing and focused environment.
