The Northern Beaches offers a lot of options for the land based fisherman. Rock and Beach fishing options are available all the way up the coast from Manly to Barrenjoey head. Different locations along the coast provide just about any type of fish found around the Sydney Area. Other locations in this area include lagoons and lakes, as well as rivers. All types of fishing are catered for along the coast and different methods can produce different results.
Narrabeen Lake - Narrabeen lake is a large body of water in Narrabeen on the Northern Beaches. Narrabeen lake offers heaps of fishing opportunities for many species.
Queenscliff/Manly Lagoon. - Queenscliff/Manly Lagoon is a deep pool that is filled by tidal waters coming in through an entrance at the north end of Manly beach.
Manly Dam - Manly Dam is a freshwater dam on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and is surrounded by Parkland. You can fish there for Bass, Redfin and Carp with lures, flies and bait.
