Sallie Portnoy has worked in glass and ceramics for more than 20 years. She has taught children, teens and adults glass fusing, slumping, kiln casting, sand casting, mould making, mosaic, & ceramics. Her studio & school THE G SPOT has been running for 6 years. Sallie exhibits nationally & internationally & has won numerous commissions for public art. She has taught many workshops around Australia and at The Glass Furnace in Turkey (2002), and at the Corning Museum of Glass & Urban Glass in New York (2004).

She has been teaching workshops from her studio since 1987.

Mark Galton has been working full time in hot glass for over 25 years. He completed a BFA at Sydney College of Art in 1984 and has worked with some of Australia’s leading glassworkers assisting Rob Wynne, Keith Rowe & Brian Hirst. He studied advanced workshops with Fred Daden from the Royal College of London & Ruth King USA & Gary Nash NZ. He then moved to Queensland to manage Pantano studio production work. In 1989 he set up a studio in Mapleton QLD and in 1996 he moved to the South Coast on NSW to set up The Hot Glass Studio & Gallery where he now lives.
