Sandy Bay is a little dog beach in Clontarf. It's a favourite for locals to bring their dogs for a salty swim and walk

along the waterfront walkway of Sandy Bay Road. You can perch on the sea wall and watch boats bobbing, moored at Clontarf Marina while your dog romps in and out of the water.

At the southern end of Sandy Bay Road is Clontarf Reserve-designated as an off-leash area between the of 10am and 6pm (eastern standard time) and 10am and 8pm (eastern summer time) on weekends, school holidays and public holidays. Here you'll find public toilets, picnic tables and a barbecue area.
