When you walk inside from bustling Koornang Road the low lighting creates a sense of intimacy to welcome you. The walls are decorated with a collection of quirky pictures in frames of various sizes; and mismatched chairs surround dark wood art deco style tables, ranging from intimate two seaters to large eight-seaters for a big group or communal dining.
There is a courtyard out the back, usually commandeered by smokers, and a few tables on the Koornang Road pavement for an alfresco experience.
The menu has an Italian twist and features an innovative breakfast menu. Favourites include the scrambled eggs with marinated Greek feta on potato rosti with roasted tomato and avocado, and the tasty poached eggs on Turkish focaccia with bacon, jalapeno, capsicum, salsa, and roquette. There are also staples such as French toast, pancakes, and homemade muesli.
