The Brass Monkey is a Perth icon and the most photographed hotel in WA. You’ll understand why when you see it lit up at night, beckoning hungry and thirsty pedestrians to wander in.

Let’s talk about being spoilt for choice. You can monkey around in several funky areas. There’s an upstairs bar and balcony overlooking William Street, an upstairs grill restaurant, sports bar and three areas of the main bar leading to the courtyard. And then there’s Grapeskin; The Brass Monkey’s award winning wine and tapas bar offering a wine list longer than a monkey’s arm and superb, modern food. Also on offer is a huge, walk-in bottle shop and function rooms for whatever your occasion. It takes a while to get to know The Brass Monkey, but it’s worth it. Don’t get lost.

With a huge selection of draught and bottled beers, wines, spirits and food styles, it's all about choice.

Stick your nose into the GrapeSkin and you'll soon see why it's been winning awards since it opened its doors. With a fantastic range of quality Reds, Whites and Bubbles to choose from, we're sure to satisfy the most discerning of palettes. You'd think that would be enough, but GrapeSkin also offers a superb modern Australian menu and an extensive selection of stylish cocktails.

At the top of the stairs you’ll step into the aromas and atmosphere of our BRASSGRILL – Chargrill Restaurant. Cosy up on a couch and enjoy a pre-dinner drink while you consider the complete a-la-carte dining from a menu boasting the absolute finest West Australian meat produce available. Going upstairs really does take you closer to heaven and the modern Australian wine list has the perfect drop to accompany your meal. You can dine inside or get fresh on the classic federation balcony.

Available to order from the main bar, The Courtyard Menu offers simple, pub style food - burgers, pizzas, pastas and salads, a long list of daily specials and more.

For the Meat lover, try or Famous 400gm Rib Eye Steak (On the Bone), Cooked to your liking.

And we are open all day, because you're hungry all day.

The main bar has all the charm of a classic Australian gentleman with its heady mixture of brass fittings, wooden paneling floors, infused with the smell of hand-crafted beer.

The outside courtyard, on the other hand, is a more stylish contemporary soul populated by Raffia palms, plasma screens and stainless steel furniture: a haven for global travellers trying to find their place in the world and corporate executives trying to hide from it.

Take it easy with style in the Lounge Bar on the 1st Level. Lap up peaceful and intimate ambience of a wood fire in the winter and cool shade in the summer.

Follow the sound of clapping and cheering and you’ll find yet another Monkey Bar personality - the Sports Bar. A cozy but dynamic character where sports fans can pay homage to their favorite team in the sanctity of their favorite public lounge room: complete with high-pitched ceilings, chesterfield lounges and MEGA screen linked to Bose surround sound speakers.

GrapeSkin offers superb modern food, stylish cocktails and a large selection of wines and boutique beers. Enjoy them all in an uber cool setting surrounded by stainless steel and polished marble with world beats and either live jazz or DJs slipping their sounds through the good-mood lighting. New York is over rated. Step in to GrapeSkin instead. It’s the most sophisticated way to get a skin full in Perth.
