Wouldn’t it be greater if you could learn how to cook inside your restaurant? Cooking classes are a great way to learn how to cook, from chefs, your favorite specials and do them at home. Good thing that Too’s offer that. Owned by brothers, Kevin and Brendan Too, they offer not only great tasting food, but also teaching you a thing or two about how to cook it.

Just along the Parramatta Road of Annandale, NSW, the Too’s serves up their specials on weekdays. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, food is abundant at their kiosk. Their menu is cooked from an array of ingredients, fresh and good quality. You could order some pies or pastries or even sandwiches to go along with you espresso coffee for breakfast and lunch. On dinners, they serve a hot plate of pastas, soups even curries. That will be a good finish to a busy day from work. And is all accessible via taxi or private vehicles, and parking is easy. Take out, which is something not to be taken lightly, is also available for dinners at home that do not have the luxury of time.

For those who do not have anything under their sleeves when it comes to cooking, here you can enroll yourself to classes, like creating pasta to perfection or cuisines like Thai & Sri Lankan or even basic skills on handling a kitchen knife. This is a good start for people wanting to create something new for their families, a home cooked and delicious meal.

The Too brothers are enthusiastic yet down to earth foodies. They are known for cooking delicious food for events and businesses around Sydney and – their special passion is sharing their knowledge with others through TOO’s Cooking Classes, in conjunction with The Cooking School.

Their easy humour, charm and humility belie their professional background that would be the envy of many.

From starting off as apprentices in the early 90s, they each moved up the ranks in Sydney’s cooking scene including well-known and loved restaurants and hotels.

Kevin graduated from Macleay College with a Diploma of Hospitality Management and started to assume management roles in leading Sydney hotels including Ramada Grand Bondi Beach and Hotel Inter Continental.

At the same time, Brendan gained his cooking qualifications and commenced his apprenticeship as a chef. By the mid 90s, he was working at world renowned, Restaurant “Forty One” under Swiss-born Dietmar Sawyere where he worked his way up to the role of Sous Chef. In that year Forty One was awarded the Best Restaurant in New South Wales by American Express for the third consecutive year, the Remy/Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the year’s NSW’s State Winner - also for the third consecutive year - as well as Sydney Restaurant of the Year by the Restaurant & Catering Association Awards. The Sydney Morning Herald’s ‘Good Food Guide” awarded it a Three Hat Award (highest rating).

Today, TOO’s Cooking in Annandale consolidates all those interests, passions and skills: a dedicated, yet intimate, cooking school in conjunction with “The Cooking School”; a new kiosk to cater for the needs of our local neighbours and businesses from breakfast to dinner; TOO’s Boardroom catering and TOO’s Wholesaling.

Kevin manages our operations and Brendan is our talented chef and head teacher.

Whether you want a great tasting coffee to take away, a bite at breakfast or to buy your lunch before work at prices that city outlets can’t match, do pop by.

Our cooking classes delivers a professional, inspiring and often humorous demonstration of the methods and techniques involved in preparing the courses.

Then you start. All the food is already set up at your station so you won’t have any measuring to do.

Questions are taken throughout the class in a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere. Nothing is too simple or too complicated for us to tackle. With small classes, personal attention is guaranteed.
