After its birth on 1992 at London and worldwide branches of more than 90, the Wagamama at King Street Wharf is perfect, not only for a quiet alone time, but also for when you’re with your partner, friends, and family. And with a licensed bar, a no smoking sign, and a casual feel, you can never go wrong here.

Since every dish has different cooking times, and that the establishment wants to enforce a strict rule on freshness, the food that your table orders, through a nifty way you should figure out by yourself, might not come together on a single serving. But then again, sharing is loving right?

If you’re a greenhorn here, house recommendations are already listed. Try the food the way you like it, either sticking with the classics like bowls of ramen and udon, or trying something you have never tried before but really want to, like chicken kare lomen. And if you start to thirst, the cocktails, like squeezed apple and lemon smash, juices, like fruit juice which is not to be taken literally, and wines of reds and whites are great to quench that.

Sweets are also up in the end of any full meal. If you’re craving for an oldie but a goody, then why not try a slice of chocolate mud cake, the Wagamama way. But if you’re in to a more out of the box stamp on an exquisite meal, then maybe a slice of a ginger and white chocolate cheesecake might be a good choice.

Kids are always welcomed here, which is why they have a separate yet equally delicious menu. Wagamama is a friend to all diets, gluten problems, vegetarianism, vegans, and MSG tolerance problems.

And they also cater, daily! Again, perfect…

Like so many English backpackers, Wagamama has made the trek from its London home - there are 50 of them in the UK - and set up by the harbour. While there's nothing groundbreaking coming out of the kitchen, there are bowls and bowls of udon and ramen to be slurped up by hungry hordes. Apparently the food arrives when it wants to, so you may have to salivate quietly through your friend's meal before getting your own.
