Yorkeys Knob is one of the beach suburbs of Cairns, the regional capital of Far North Queensland, Australia. It is approximately 13 km north of the centre of Cairns, and is the third beach suburb after Machans Beach and Holloways Beach. You will always be able to find your own piece of paradise on our large expanse of golden palm-fringed beach. The main patrolled beach offers the protection of stinger nets in the summer season. The beach is a popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing. It is also a dog friendly beach.
